Modem Problems

Reason for not posting

Ahhh!  The Modem or the Router box is giving us problems with connecting to the internet, running the TV and the house phone. S has U-Verse through At&t, he has been with this company over two or more years U-Verse runs the TV, Internet and house phone...something not right tho.

For when the TV is on then the internet goes out (offline) and the phone goes dead. (Huh?)  When the TV is off, the phone, and internet works. (Crazy)

Been like this now going on 6 days....S order a new box and so he try hooking it up a couple of evenings ago...ha didn't work at all.  So last night I got to looking at the back of that new box and compare it to the old box...I notice that on the new box that the AUX Line is missing, and while on the older box that AUX port is connected. Perhaps this is the problem while that box is not working for us?

So now it is my turn to go play with that box once I phone the company Tech help line, perhaps they can walk me through or something??????   Like Is there a reason why there is not AUX port on new box?  etc.

By the way try telling one very stubborn man  to stay away from the TV if he wants his phone and the internet to work.  I know I want the internet to work big time!  For I rarely watch tv myself, basically I can care less for the TV while I can easily access the news in real time, watch free tv programs at YouTube and watch movies at netflex, then go socializing over at Facebook, and be able to keep my blog up to date more often.   I also been taking online classes however with this modem problem I been loosing out on those lessons!
