Lunch Time-Edited

While our lunch was cooking away in the kitchen around noonish I had some clothes to hang up on the line and look what I had found fixing her meal around and around, so after I finished with the clothes off  I went inside to fetch my camera and by the time I came back she just starting to settle down to enjoy her meal.

I am not sure if this is a female or a male, I was really surprise to see this
Beautiful colorful spider for being this is the time of year that garden spiders either goes into hibernation or simply drop dead from the cold nights or gets eaten up by some other wild creature, so I decided to let her enjoy her meal while we were about to go enjoy our lunch inside.

After we had our lunch I decided to go check on this spider to see
if she was still sucking up her lunch juices. it seems she must of stuffed herself for she was went back to her usual normal resting mode, my guess she will go back for left overs later.

For our lunch my guest and I had Stuffed Bell-peppers, and Baked Potato and then for dinner this evening after my honey returned home from work the 3 of us had Turkey left overs, Candi-Yams, Smashed Taters, Gravy, and Spinach.  My honey decided to finished off the rest of the Bush Beans to go with his Turkey plate.

"How did your Sunday went for you?

Sorry I do not know the type of Spider this is...however I can tell you this much about this spider, they are very common here for southern California and are often famous for setting up booby traps right in the path of the walk-way, they are not poisonous unless a person is allergic to spiders like I am of the such.

These spiders are one of our most beautiful colorful  native species...whereas the females are huge.  I suspect this one might be a male although it could just simply be a young female spider....so far this spider is lucky cause Mr. Frost hasn't come calling on us yet.

"Thank you for visiting my blog"

I think its a common garden spider. Very similar to the ones we have here and yes they do spin webs across paths and walkways. Our Postman is always on the look out for their webs as he goften walks into them as he delivers. They usually appear around the end of October and early November until the frosts get them.
Sounds like some good meals you ate.
